Resolved Question: Questions on Roseburg, Oregon?

I am thinking of moving to Roseburg, Oregon. I love small towns, and currently live in California. I have a pretty good job here and I hope I can transfer, its Human Services (welfare dept). I am just wondering about this town, it sounds enchanting. How are the schools? How about recreation for children (soccer, basketball, etc). How are the people there? Friendly?
